Summary

Main duties and responsibilities Organisation and forward planning of rosters, ensuring consistent staff levels across all shifts. Manage allocation of staff to areas of responsibility, by forward and daily planning of available staff. Complete worked hours tracking documentation to accurately reflect staff allocation. Other Duties Understand and manage situations which may arise as a result of stress related issues when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff. Such incidents will require high levels of diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills. Undertake any training and personal development as required in relation to the job, to meet the demands of the post and changes in law.
