University College London Hospitals is seeking to appoint a Clinical Fellow in Gynaecological Cancer Prevention.

You will be joining the colposcopy and familial cancer team in the EGA Wing, supervised by consultant clinical lead Dr Adam Rosenthal. You will take part in outpatient clinics, operating lists (predominantly laparoscopic risk-reducing surgery and colposcopic procedures), daytime acute gynaecology on-call cover and audit.

In the Department there is a commitment to high quality patient care, innovative service models, delivery of performance targets, and excellence in education/training.

The aims of the post:
• To undertake colposcopy training under direct supervision and then undertake colposcopy clinics under indirect supervision once adequately trained.
• To attend the familial cancer clinic and then see patients under indirect supervision once adequately trained.
• To attend risk-reducing and colposcopy surgery lists in order to undertake training in laparoscopic gynaecological surgery and colposcopically-directed procedures e.g. LLETZ and knife/needle cone biopsy.
• To participate in the daytime acute gynaecology on-call rota.
• To recruit patients to ongoing clinical trials and help with sample collection for these trials

The appointee will be also expected to contribute fully to the administrative, teaching, audit, and research activities within the department of gynaecological oncology. The job is expected to be carried out on UCLH sites.
