Summary
Do you thrive on taking ownership of a product from conception to launch? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
If so, we would love to hear from you!
We're seeking talented and driven product managers to join our team. As a product manager, you'll be responsible for defining, owning, and solving problems related to our digital products. You'll contribute to managing the product through all stages of its lifecycle, from discovery to live, and support senior product managers in their roles.
Whilst product management experience is desirable, this is a role that would be perfect for those who have worked in other digital roles or have experience across other competencies. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills in product management techniques.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on developing and shaping the future of our digital products. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join a dynamic and forward-thinking capability, then consider how you match up against what we’re looking for.
Would you like to find out more about the role, the digital team and what it’s like to work at DVLA? If so, we are organising a familiarisation session where you can virtually 'meet the team' on Monday 30th June at 11:30am.

You will have recent experience and knowledge of product management techniques and will have a strong technical focus. Alternatively you will be responsible for an area within a large complex product alongside a senior Product manager.
You will provide the escalation route through to a Senior Product Manager and will ensure the delivery of technical change across multiple squads.
You will be confident challenging approaches within and outside of the squads and be a positive role model of the values, attitudes and behaviours of the capability. You will facilitate focus on the delivery of the technical outcomes, manage dependencies, identify and manage priorities and ensure the successful delivery of the technical product area. You will need to have strong communication skills and will engage with senior stakeholders at all levels to support the effective delivery of those products and services.
You will support the development and continuous improvement of the product, turning the vision into reality. You will ensure the team deliver the vision in the most effective way whilst building something that is reusable and transformational.
