Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking primary team. This role is ideal for a creative and motivated practitioner with a passion for upper Key Stage 2. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a Year 5 class, following the national curriculum.
Plan engaging lessons that support academic progress, independence and creativity.
Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing clear feedback and adapting plans as needed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression across the key stage.
Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is valued and supported.
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
Be a qualified teacher with QTS and experience teaching in KS2.
Have strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment expectations.
Show excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 5 Teacher.
Be committed to raising pupil achievement and promoting well-being.
Demonstrate a reflective and proactive approach to professional development.
