Nursery Room Leader – New Malden, KT3
Salary: Up to £14.25 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time and All Year Round, Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s nursery in New Malden (KT3). This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a room where children thrive, and practitioners feel supported and inspired.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (essential).
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Nursery Team Leader, or senior practitioner.
- Solid knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- A passion for providing outstanding care and early education.
- Commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and child-centred learning.

What You’ll Do as a Nursery Room Leader:
- Take responsibility for the daily running of your room, maintaining high standards of care and education.
- Lead a team of nursery practitioners, offering mentoring, support, and supervision.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Build strong partnerships with families, ensuring excellent communication and continuity of care.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, in line with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies.
- Bring fresh ideas to enhance the nursery curriculum and support continuous improvement.
