Nursery Room Leader – From £34,000 | 40 Hours per Week | All Year Round

Are you a confident Nursery Room Leader ready to take the lead in a fun and creative environment?

Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join their welcoming and inclusive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified practitioner to step into a leadership role where child development, teamwork, and curiosity are at the heart of every day.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you’ll take the lead in creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally rich environment for children. You’ll manage the daily running of the room, guiding your team of practitioners, while ensuring every child receives high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally with some leadership responsibility
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A proactive, warm, and confident approach to supporting both children and staff
  • Passion for providing exceptional early years education in a diverse and inclusive setting

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities to support learning and development
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels secure and valued
  • Mentor and support nursery practitioners within your room, fostering a collaborative team spirit
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s development and wellbeing
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Promote and uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and equality standards at all times
  • Champion the nursery’s values of inclusivity, curiosity, and care
