This is a unique opportunity to join the Stephen Burke Construction Academy, which has cutting-edge facilities and substantial investment in new technologies, set within a supportive environment that values collaboration and partnerships. These include strong links with leading industry partners, such as, an exceptional long-standing partnership with St. Modwen, including generous bursary support for staff and a Golden Hello. ? For industry professionals looking to move into teaching in further education there is also the opportunity to apply for government grant scheme with payments of up to £6,000 per annum while studying teacher training programmes. About the role: As Course Leader, you will lead the delivery, coordination, and ongoing development of the HNC Construction Management course, ensuring students gain the technical and professional skills needed in the modern construction industry.You will also teach modules and provide academic leadership. A friendly, effective communicator, you’ll be committed to delivering an excellent student experience and drawing on your industry experience to enrich your teaching.The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Construction and be confident teaching undergraduate students at Levels 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their academic career in a small and friendly environment, whilst utilising their vocational skills background to enrich the student experience.? The successful candidate will have industry experience and a proven record in inspirational teaching at HE level and have a demonstrable commitment to teaching and learning excellence. You will be based at The Stephen Burke Construction Academy, which is responsible for a range of programmes including the Higher Nationals (HTQs), and professional qualifications. The main teaching areas would be for example: HNC Architectural Technology (Higher Technical Qualification) | Level 4 HNC Civil Engineering | Level 4 HNC/D Quantity Surveying (Pearson HTQ) HNC Construction Management (Higher Technical Qualification) | Level 4?
