Overview:
Our client, a well-established HVAC services provider based in Chelmsford, is seeking a Lead HVAC Engineer to join their team. Operating across Essex and London, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to step into a senior role with responsibility for mentoring one apprentice and leading varied installation and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out and oversee HVAC installations, servicing, and maintenance across commercial and residential sites.

Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and to a high standard.

Supervise and support one apprentice, offering hands-on mentorship and technical guidance.

Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company quality standards.

Maintain clear communication with clients and provide accurate reporting on job progress and outcomes.

Represent the company professionally on all client sites.
Candidate Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in HVAC or equivalent qualification (essential).

Solid experience in a similar HVAC role.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable leading jobs independently and managing a junior team member.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Full UK driving licence.
