Summary

THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established organisation located on the outskirts of Lichfield. They are currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join their team on a temporary contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right individual. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and friendly finance team in a growing business. Immediate availability and commitment to the assignment are essential.

THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will provide administrative and operational support across the finance function. Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with financial accounting, reporting, tax, and treasury tasks
• Setting up and managing new supplier accounts
• Reconciling UK expenses
• Supporting month-end processes, including journal postings
• Producing monthly KPI reports for the Financial Controller
• Supporting audit preparation and related tasks
• Providing cover for the Purchase Ledger during busy periods
• Carrying out general ad hoc duties as required within the finance department
This role offers a hybrid working model, with the opportunity to work from home two days per week.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for candidates who either have a minimum of one year’s experience in a finance department or are recent graduates in Accountancy & Finance. You will be:
• A confident communicator, capable of working with colleagues and customers at all levels
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• A fast learner with accurate and efficient keyboard abilities
• Proactive and able to adapt in a dynamic finance environment
