  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team (teachers, therapy, pastoral, support staff).
  • Plan, prepare, record, and review student progress.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress to parents and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership in a curriculum area, including monitoring quality, contributing to school planning, and advising on resources.
  • Implement school aims and embed school values in daily practice.
Skills & Qualifications
  • PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Working knowledge of special educational needs, including relevant curriculum and learning plans.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Effective planning, preparation, recording, and reviewing skills for student progress.
  • Proficiency in supporting pupils with ASD and complex communication/behavioural needs.
  • Ability to identify and de-escalate emotional and behavioural issues.
  • Experience working in an ASD/SLD environment is desirable.

If you are a passionate educator committed to providing the best possible outcomes for young people with special educational needs, we encourage you to apply and help us build an outstanding school community.
