We are seeking an experienced Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to work in EYFS with a small group of SEND children. This is a 1-year temporary post required from 21st August 2025.
(Grade 3, pt5 FTE £23,500. Actual Salary–£17,129.56)
33.33 hours per week, 39 weeks per year: Monday - Friday 8.20am – 3.00pm. This will include a 30 min unpaid lunchbreak.
This post is subject to SEND funding, the role is not protected therefore if the child left our school a notice period of 4 weeks would be served.
The successful candidate must:
• have experience of working with pupils with ASD and language and communication needs
• have excellent communication skills with adults and children
• be able to deliver personalised 1:1 provision or targeted interventions based inside or outside the classroom
• have awareness of SEND strategies which help the child meet their provision and targets
• be able to work with EYFS children
• support and maintain records of SEND provision
• meet the well-being, personal care and hygiene needs of our children
