Summary
This is a temporary contract We are looking for a 1:1 TA to support children with social communication and other needs. This can be shared between a number of successful applicants and we would welcome applications from people seeking flexibility which may be able to be facilitated.
The role is 31.25 hours a week, Monday to Friday.The role of a SEN TA is to work under the supervision of the class teacher and/or SENCO, to undertake a range of directed activities to support the educational and developmental needs of pupils, to assist teachers in the organisation and maintenance of classroom resources and to contribute to the supervision and welfare of pupils throughout the school. This position would be working in either KS1 or KS2.
We are looking for A TA who is:
• Flexible, calm and well organised.
• Able to take initiative and work well with key stage 1, 2 and wider school team.
• Sensitive towards the needs of children and able to work with a children with social communication and other needs.
• Able to liaise closely with colleagues to plan and help to implement next steps of learning.
• Approachable and a good communicator.
• Willing to attend relevant training.
