Full time hours on a temporary basis
- Key Responsibilities:
This is a varied and impactful role focused on the administration and enforcement of statutory licensing functions, with a strong emphasis on animal welfare and public protection.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and enforce compliance across licensing areas including the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, hackney and private hire, and animal welfare.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and investigations into complaints and customer requests.
- Make officer determinations on licences, including refusals, suspensions, and revocations.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders and respond to complex licensing queries.
- Prepare reports and evidence files, and present in legal proceedings when required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with enforcement bodies, veterinarians, and other partners.
