Start Date: September 2025
⏰ Working Days: Monday to Friday (afternoons only)
Contract: Temporary (until December 2025)
Daily Rate: £110 - £210 (dependent on experience)

We are proud to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Rotherham that is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 2 Teacher to cover afteroons only until December 2025
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful contribution during a vital stage of pupils' early education, particularly in preparation for the Year 2 assessments.
The Role: What to Expect
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Support pupils in preparation for the Phonics Screening and KS1 assessments
- Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports confidence and curiosity
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in KS1 and the Senior Leadership Team
- Monitor and track progress, identifying and addressing any learning needs
- Provide inclusive support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and a strong culture of learning
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- A strong grasp of the Year 2 curriculum and phonics delivery
- A creative, caring, and proactive teaching style
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A genuine commitment to pupil wellbeing and progress
