Programme Manager for capital projectswillprovide leadership for the strategic development ofRFLPS’s customer sites (both internal and external customers)taking authority and responsibility for the management, co-ordination and delivery of the Trust Capital Programme ensuring business development and occupier criteria are met in line with agreed time, cost and quality objectives whilst minimising impact of projects on trust income, patient experience and operational activity.
The role will provide expertadvice,and support to the Deputy Director of Capital Projects, Director of Project Delivery,customers’ seniorExecutives, Divisional Directors, and clinicians in the strategic developmentand deliveryof the Capital plan in line with agreed project and Trust governing objectivesso as toachieve long term best value for the benefit of patients, staff and clinical service.
This post will require the postholder to develop & implement policy relating to the planning & physical environment in which clinical services are provided & comment on other clinical &nonclinicalpolicies. Furthermore,the post holder willbe responsible forthe smooth,efficientandtimelyoperation of the wider capital programme team
1. Lead the formation and delivery ofRFLPS customers’long term capital plan working with clinical divisions and corporate functions to ensure adequate funding is provided to meet thelong-termTrustobjectives.
1. Provide leadership and direction to the Capital team for all aspects of estates development.
1. Be part of the drive to deliveradditionalexternal commissions with associated revenues to RFLPS, delivering hight quality solutions to all clients
1. Engage with Executive,Divisionaland general managers to ensure the Capital plan accurately reflects the needs and requirements of the Trust operational services.
1. Work closely with the Director of Financial control to ensure the Capital Plan meets the requirements of Monitor reporting.
1. Provide Capital planningexpertiseto the Executive team to support service and business change.
