B2 - £30,559 - £32,654 per annum
North Kesteven District Council is seeking a new colleague for our Resettlement Team. It’s a small but busy Team that focus’ on the resettlement of refugees evacuated by the Home Office via ARAP, ACRS, UKRS and ARP routes.
Job Requirements:
• Either academic or vocational qualifications, or equivalent work experience
• Skill and aptitude for managing multiple work streams.
• Ability to research and learn new guidance and procedures in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to complete information requests by preset deadlines, with accuracy.
• Ability to assess data and information and identify trends and patterns.
• Negotiating and influencing skills with colleagues, customers and partners.
• Undertake data analysis and populate reports to Boards/Committees
Key Responsibilities:
• Administering grants and other payments on behalf of partners and our client families. You will use the existing systems to create Purchase Orders, process invoices and create grant claims.
• Using existing processes, instruct and monitor contractors/agencies that support our customers to resettle in Lincolnshire. To include wrap round support and language tuition (ESOL).
• Liaising with Partner District Councils for the provision of suitable accommodation, household goods and access to ongoing support.
• Working closely with the existing post holder to provide a seamless service for the resettling families.

Direct experience of this role is not essential, what is key are your transferrable skills and ability to communicate with enthusiasm and confidence.
You will be required to apply a high level of attention to detail when carrying out this role, to support the delivery of our Resettlement service at an operational level and show an appreciation of the contribution local government can make to the welfare of the people living, working, and visiting the district.
