We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking IT & Digital Trainer to join our dynamic IT & Digital Transformation team. This is your chance to make a real impact by delivering engaging, accessible, and effective training that supports our staff in embracing digital change.

What you’ll be doing:

As our IT & Digital Trainer, you’ll be the go-to expert supporting the design, development, and optimisation of our IT & Digital training packages. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to:

Design and deliver tailored IT and digital training for all levels – from beginners to advanced users.
Create engaging learning materials including presentations, manuals, and e-learning content.
Run interactive sessions in-person, online and via blended learning formats.
Collaborate with colleagues across the council to identify training needs and develop impactful solutions.
Champion digital adoption and helping teams get the most out of tools like Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.

What we’re looking for:

We’re after someone who’s not just technically skilled, but also a great communicator and collaborator. We are looking for:

A confident communicator with a knack for making complex tech simple.
Proven experience in delivering IT and digital training in a corporate or public sector setting.
Strong knowledge of digital tools, systems and e-learning platforms.
A creative approach to training design and delivery, with a focus on user experience.
A team player who’s organised, proactive, and passionate about continuous improvement
