The Role

As Assistant Complex Manager you will support the Bar & Restaurant Manager with the effective management of our food and beverage services on park. You will help oversee all aspects of the service and the staff, leading by example with a friendly and professional approach. You will promote high standards of quality, high levels of customer service, cleanliness and presentation, and maximise every opportunity to improve performance and profits. The role is key to ensuring our customers can relax, dine and enjoy the entertainment activities they are expecting, and also to ensuring that any problems are resolved quickly and professionally.

The Person

You will need to have previous experience of supervising a food and beverage service and be able to demonstrate effective measures for reducing waste and increasing sales. You will also need to have previous experience supervising a staff team and be able to demonstrate effective ways of motivating the team to achieve excellence.

Some of the day-to-day duties are:
Assisting in recruiting and training the bar and waiting on teams.
Oversee the front of house operations when the Bar & Restaurant Manager is absent.
Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained – complete spot checks with customers.
Being knowledgeable about our product range.
Help the Bar & Restaurant Manager organise the staff rota ensuring that we are adequately resourced at all times.
Assist with ongoing stock management, minimising waste, maintaining GP’s etc
Careful management and implementation of all Health & Safety and legislative requirements.
Ensure that the bar is well stocked at all times.
Assist in the promotion of the venue via our Social Media channels and marketing team
Ensure that our Health & Safety obligations are adhered to at all times
The ideal candidate will have:

Be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and run shifts, have a confident approach with guests and able to multi-task across the venue
Have previous experience in a Supervisory or Assistant Manager role.
Excellent communication skills.
Be skilled at training and coaching others to deliver excellent service.
Have experience of recruiting, coaching and developing a large Front of House team.
Experienced in training waiting on staff on menus including allergen information.
Able to resolve customer complaints quickly and cost effectively
A strong commitment to delivering consistently exceptional customer service
Good knowledge of the licensing laws (a personal license is essential)
