Summary

Be a role model and uphold professional standards for the management of violence and aggression reduction. Develop and maintain professional links during training with other departments, organisations and individuals who conduct work within the field of personal safety. Attend meetings as directed by line managers to provide advice on personal safety and management and reduction of violence and aggression in the workplace. Utilise verbal and communication skills as appropriate to meet the learning styles of the individual trainee. To be able to communicate and influence people at all levels within the organisation. Excellent presentation skills. Supports the Lead Trainer in engaging with managers, using tact, persuasion and negotiation skills to overcome barriers to enrolling staff in the training to ensure attendance. Under supervision, support the Lead Trainer in working with complex and sensitive information on patients and incidents to develop appropriate VART action plans for teams. Deputise for lead trainer as and when required to support the department. Supports management in the development of the VART project. Act as a first point of contact for queries for trainees.
