Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Safety team as the Lead for Violence Prevention and Reduction.
We are seeking a confident and self-motivated Violence Prevention & Reduction (VPR) Professional to lead and promote a positive violence reduction culture where our YAS colleagues feel supported, safe and secure at work.
The VPR Lead will also act as the subject matter expert on violence reduction and lead on implementation of national standards and guidance across the organisation and build and maintain positive working relationships (internally and externally) to support and improve the violence reduction culture.
The post holder will be responsible for leading and taking responsibility in the preparation and development of a strategic framework to address violence & aggression within the workplace, co-ordinating and ensuring performance management of the Trusts VPR action plan, acting as the organisational lead supporting the Head of Safety and IPC Lead, providing specialist advice on policy, legislation and service developments.
The post holder will be responsible for the long-term planning, development and implementation of policies and strategic plans which will impact across the whole of the organisation.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for some of our partner agencies and will need to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with those agencies.
