About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will be at the heart of the school's mission to support every child. You will be instrumental in ensuring pupils can access their education and will work to raise their standards of attainment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Current experience supporting pupils with a range of additional SEND needs, including communication and interaction, cognition and learning, or complex sensory needs.
  • A proven ability to relate well to both children and adults, working constructively as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of child development and how to adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • A patient and caring manner, with the confidence to manage challenging behaviours positively.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade A*-C or equivalent) are essential.

  • The support of a dedicated specialist consultant.
  • Access to a range of CPD and training opportunities to further your skills.
  • A supportive environment that encourages professional development.
