We are looking for a number of full-time Warehouse Operative to join us at our reverse operation in Snodland (ME6 5SL) for our client. This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is a fast-paced, diverse environment, with plenty of development opportunities available.

Pay, benefits and more:

  • Day shift: £12.01 per hour in the first 12 weeks and it will increase to £12.31 per hour + PAID BREAK (1HR)
  • Night shift: £14.95 per hour in the first 12 weeks and it will increase to £15.25 per hour + PAID BREAK (1HR)
  • Holiday pay
  • Opportunities for a permanent contract is available for the right candidate

Your working hours as a Warehouse Operative:

  • Day shift: 6am until 6pm
  • Night shift: 6pm until 6am

What you'll do on a typical day as a Warehouse Operative:

This is a vital role in preparing plastic trays for re-use in the distribution of food items to the supermarket. The role will involve loading and unloading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, which are then washed by an industrial washing machine. The trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers. Other tasks will involve the recycling of plastic and cardboard by unloading from cages into a baling machine. The work is physical so you must enjoy work of a physical nature.
