The Role

We are seeking a Risk and Assurance Officer to join our Strategy, Governance and Assurance team on a full-time, permanent basis!

In this role, you will help enhance the culture of risk, fraud, and assurance awareness across the organisation and assist in developing and implementing the risk management and assurance framework. You will identify and communicate emerging risks and fraud threats, and work with the business to coordinate annual corporate assurance statements, operational risk registers and fraud risk assessments.

Your day-to-day duties will be varied and includes testing internal controls, overseeing internal audit delivery, managing the fraud register and helping to embed our new approach to resident scrutiny reviews. In addition, you will help deliver training on fraud, risk, and assurance, while embedding Eastlight’s values into everything you do.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk or assurance roles, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering high quality administrative support. Relevant qualifications are desirable. You will be proactive, detail-focused and confident in challenging management when needed.

  • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
