Summary

Are you a systems-savvy professional with a passion for digital transformation in housing services? South Holland District Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced Housing Systems Specialist to lead the development and optimisation of our NEC Housing platform.



In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for managing and enhancing a wide range of NEC Housing modules — from Repairs and Rents to Allocations and Service Charges. You’ll drive innovation, ensure system integrity, and support strategic service improvements that directly benefit our tenants and staff.



What you’ll be doing:

Leading the configuration, maintenance, and development of the NEC Housing system.
Managing system security, updates, and user support.
Collaborating with stakeholders to align system capabilities with service needs.
Delivering training, documentation, and support to maximise system use.
Driving data quality, reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Supporting digital transformation and customer self-service initiatives.


What we’re looking for:

Proven experience managing NEC Housing or similar housing systems.
Strong ICT background with at least 5 years in systems support and delivery.
Excellent data handling skills, including Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and SQL.
A user-focused mindset with a passion for service improvement.
Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement is a plus.
