Associate Pastor (New Believers)
RCCG Amazing Grace Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire UK seeks to employ an Associate Pastor - Minister of Religion to take responsibility for New Believers. The candidate should be a Born-Again Spirit Filled Christian, a believer who must have gone through Worker’s in training process. Understand the statement of faith (Tenets) of RCCG. Evidence of training and on-going spiritual development will be required if invited to attend an interview.
Reporting to: Parish Pastor (Operational Leadership)
Responsibilities
Teach bible studies with specific focus on new believers joining the church
Organise evangelism and prayer meetings with specific focus on new believers on behalf of the church
Assist the Pastor where possible during or after church ministration and serving Holy Communion.
Conduct outreach and prayer meetings among new and potential believers on behalf of the church
Co-ordinate the integration of new believers into the church
Engage in prayer and fasting with a view to build spiritual covering for the church.
Assist the Pastor where possible in matters relating to new believers.
The skill, experience and qualifications required for the post.
Essential:
(i)The Person must subscribe to the tenets of Faith of the Redeemed Christian church of God (RCCG) worldwide
(ii) Must have or currently undertaking a qualification from RCCG School of Disciples or RCCG Bible College
(iii) Must have at least a Higher National Diploma
(iv) Must have had previous experience of working with new believers within the RCCG or any evangelical church
(v) Must have verifiable 2-years work experience in a job that involves intensive interaction with new believers regularly
(vii) Must be computer literate to intermediate skill level (Microsoft Office Suites)
(viii) Must be willing to undertake missionary work and travels within UK and overseas
(ix) Candidate must be a Born-Again Christian and must be able to describe their Salvation experience
