Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative TV & Film Production Specialist to join our creative team. You will develop, produce, and publish compelling television content—both in our 4K PTZ-equipped studios and on location—tailored to inspire and include our SEND learners. Your work will be showcased on public channels, pitched to streaming services, and integrated into BCI’s diverse creative curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
* **Content Development & Production**
* Generate original concepts, characters, and show formats for studio and on-location shoots using 4K PTZ camera systems.
* Oversee all stages of production: pre-production planning, directing, filming, editing, and post-production.
* **Portfolio Presentation**
* Curate and maintain an up-to-date portfolio demonstrating your production expertise and creative flair.
* **Broadcast & Distribution**
* Secure broadcast slots on public TV channels and negotiate agreements with streaming platforms.
* Collaborate with BCI’s fundraising team to pitch show ideas and obtain funding.
* **Cross-Department Integration**
* Work alongside music, art, drama, and media departments to produce bespoke programmes that enrich our learners’ experience.
* Engage with external clients at live events—religious ceremonies, outdoor festivals, sports clubs—to capture and produce dynamic content.
* **Digital & Social Media**
* Build and maintain a strong online presence for BCI by regularly publishing show clips and related content on social platforms.
---
Essential Requirements
* Extensive hands-on experience in TV/film production, with a showreel or portfolio of broadcast-ready work.
* Proven ability to operate and direct 4K PTZ camera systems, both in studio and on location.
* Track record of successful show pitches to public broadcasters and streaming services.
* Strong project-management skills and the drive to secure funding—comfortable engaging with sponsors, fundraisers, and grant providers.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working alongside SEND learners or in inclusive educational settings.
* Willingness to travel UK-wide on short notice and flexibility to work non-standard hours.
---
Desirable Attributes
* Creative “go-getter” attitude and high energy (“dynamic buzz”) in all aspects of content creation.
* Familiarity with social-media analytics, SEO, and online engagement strategies.
* Experience in podcasting, live streaming, or other emerging digital media formats.
* Ability to mentor and inspire learners, fostering a collaborative studio environment.
