Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Voice & Media Training Tutor to deliver two days of bespoke specialist classes each week in voice acting, animation and theatre for an individual SEND learner. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that build practical skills, confidence and creativity.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver individualized lesson plans in voice acting, animation and theatre.

Utilise multisensory and scaffolded approaches tailored to the needs of students with SEND (e.g., visual aids, rehearsal scripts).

Monitor learner progress and adapt activities to meet attention, language, and emotional regulation needs.

Collaborate with speech & language therapists, wellbeing staff and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies.

Provide constructive feedback and performance coaching that fosters empathy and resilience.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, achievement and next-step targets.
Participate in termly reviews and staff meetings; communicate learner outcomes to the SEND coordinator.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
Vocational or specialist background in creative media (e.g., voice acting studio work, animation production, theatre performance).

Proven track record of teaching or tutoring in voice/media to young people, ideally including those with SEND.

Understanding of differentiated instruction, behaviour management, and SEND best practices.

Excellent communication, patience and interpersonal skills.

Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to obtain).

Desirable
Formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTLS) or relevant vocational experience or certification.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (SALT, therapists, wellbeing staff).
Knowledge of assistive technology platforms for creative media.
