Are you a confident early years practitioner with nursery leadership experience? A small, supportive nursery within a central Birmingham primary school is looking for a qualified Nursery Lead Practitioner to join their team this September.
This warm and well-established nursery provides a nurturing start for young learners and is part of a larger school known for its inclusive ethos and strong community ties. You'll lead a small team, shaping daily routines and learning experiences that give children the best possible start.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the nursery team to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
- Overseeing planning, observations and assessments in line with EYFS
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Supporting smooth transitions into Reception
What we're looking for:
- Level 6 qualification in Early Years or a related subject (essential)
- Previous nursery experience, ideally in a school-based setting
- Strong leadership skills and a nurturing approach
- Confidence in EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures
