We are looking to recruit a General Teaching Assistant to work with students with additional needs and deliver specific interventions with groups and individuals. This post would be a good opportunity for candidates who are considering the teaching profession
You will join an enthusiastic team to provide a high standard of support to students through the course of their school day here at The Joseph Rowntree School. You will work under the direction of the teacher/team leaders to undertake work, care and support programmes, to enable access to learning and to assist the teachers in delivering the curriculum.
Personal qualities should include energy, enthusiasm, assertiveness, high standards, a strong personality, a sense of humour and you must be a team player.
