Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of St Edmund Campion Catholic School wish to appoint a passionate, driven, committed, forward thinking and innovative Cover Supervisor.

We are looking to appoint a welcoming, professional and experienced person to fulfil this role. You will be required to work alongside Heads of Department and Teaching Staff. The successful candidate will be able to build positive relationships with students acting as a professional role model, should have good literacy and numeracy skills, previous experience of working with children and young people and be committed to maintaining a positive culture of quality learning. This post may well suit a candidate who is looking to gain experience in the classroom prior to undergoing a teaching career. We wish to appointment someone who:

• has high expectations for all pupils and is able to relate well to pupils in a calm and authoritative manner
• has a positive outlook and a good work ethic
• will contribute to the school ethos, values and mission statement
• will communicate effectively with parents, pupils, visitors and staff
• remains calm and positive under pressure
• can work with minimum supervision and as part of a team
• will use initiative to support the Principal, Senior Leadership Team and school staff

What the school offers its staff

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing eight primary schools and two secondary schools. Our schools are located in the northern area of Birmingham.

The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families.
