We are supporting a successful and well-organised secondary school in North Birmingham that prides itself on high expectations, consistency, and creating a calm, purposeful learning environment. They are now seeking a Cover Supervisor who can step confidently into lessons across a range of subjects to maintain continuity of learning.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervising students during lessons where the usual teacher is absent

  
  

• Delivering pre-set resources and instructions with clarity and confidence

  
  

• Managing behaviour effectively using the school’s established systems

  
  

• Promoting a focused, respectful learning environment

  
  

• Reporting back on lesson engagement and student conduct

    You Will Need:

    • Experience working with young people (youth work, tutoring, teaching assistant roles or similar)

      
      

    • Strong communication and classroom management skills

      
      

    • A confident, professional approach and ability to follow systems

      
      

    • A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress
