Summary
Oatlands School needs a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our SEND team of Teaching Assistants. This role is for Mondays - Fridays 8:50am - 3pm, term time only + inset daysWe are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher with the development and education of children with special educational needs. This post is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a welcoming and supportive team with our pupils at the heart of everything we do and we would welcome applications from those who can demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:
An understanding of supporting children with varying special educational needs including ASD.
Creativity and positivity
An ability to motivate and encourage young children
Excellent interpersonal skills
Managing and effectively handling some difficult behaviours
Working within a happy, hardworking team
