Crynodeb

A welcoming mainstream primary school in Weybridge is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils with special educational needs. You’ll be working closely with class teachers and the school’s SEN team to provide tailored, in-class and 1:1 support, ensuring that every learner is valued, included, and given the opportunity to succeed.

The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and strong team culture. Staff work together with a clear mission: to ensure every child is supported, challenged, and able to reach their full potential.

In this role, you will:
- Support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional needs
- Help adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual pupils
- Foster confidence and independence through positive relationships and consistent encouragement
- Contribute to a calm, focused, and engaging learning environment

This is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience in a school or SEN setting, or a graduate considering a future in education or child psychology.

Apply now to be considered for this full-time SEN Teaching Assistant job starting in January 2026.
