As the significance of the Directorate’s role within the Army has increased, so too has the importance of our communications and engagement.

The communications and engagement manager’s key responsibilities include:

Cohere with the outputs with Army Communications and Engagement for narrative purposes as well as Army Secretary for policy
Lead with the delivery of internal, Directorate communications such as townhalls
Proactively seek out and exploit Directorate good news stories and communicate them to the Army, Defence and wider
Support the SEO in delivering Directorate input into Defence and Industry events such as DSEI, Industry days and Civil Service recruiting events
