This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a science graduate seeking meaningful classroom experience before moving into teacher training or further academic study.

Graduate Chemistry Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 Chemistry and General Science
• Assisting with lab preparation, experiments, and classroom resources
• Providing small group and 1:1 academic support
• Encouraging students’ scientific thinking and enquiry-based learning
• Collaborating with Science teachers to enhance lesson delivery
• Helping ensure safety and engagement during practical sessions
• Contributing to science clubs or wider STEM enrichment activities
Graduate Chemistry Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
• A 2:1 degree or above in Chemistry or a related subject
• A passion for science communication and learning
• Experience working with young people (e.g., in schools, mentoring, tutoring)
• Strong subject knowledge and a detail-oriented mindset
• Confident, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to education
• Keen interest in pursuing a career in teaching or science education
