Summary
Ceredigion County Council is looking to appoint a full-time, permanent Duty Officer at Lampeter Swimming Pool.
As the council’s lead service for delivering and developing physical activity opportunities, you will work closely with the management team to ensure that the service maximises its contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of the county’s citizens.

Our ideal candidate will:
To open and close the buildings, operate the centre on a day-to-day basis in the absence of the Team Manager / Co-ordinator / Support Officer and be responsible for the security of the premises.
To supervise and direct the Lifeguard / Operation Attendants and other staff at the facility and to ensure that the council’s resources are used in the most efficient manner.
To assist with the development and implementation of all Health and safety legislation and practices where appropriate.
To be able to assist citizens of all ages; responding to their enquires and concerns and ensuring they have access to up-to-date information.
To assist with the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective service to all customers and potential customers.
To assist with delivery of swimming lessons and other classes as and when required
