Summary
Based on themes from actions arising from patient safety learning responses, new groups have been established to ensure that the quality improvement work undertaken for patient safety is adequately standardised and prioritised. Key to this work is the development of clinical quality metrics as part of the trust's continuous quality improvement methodology. This post represents an opportunity to gain further experience of quality improvement, clinical governance and healthcare management within a large and complex NHS Trust which would be well suited for a candidate with aspirations to develop a career in any of these areas.
