Summary
Previous NHS and Experience in the clinical area is essential for the successful candidate. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Specialist Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our team, providing expert care in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with traumatic injuries and those on the Elective Orthopaedic pathway, including pre-operative assessments. In this role, you will work independently, managing a specialized clinical caseload with autonomy and as part of a wider MDT. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, delivering targeted treatment plans, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical care. You will also play an essential role in the supervision and teaching of junior therapists and therapy assistants, fostering their growth and supporting professional development. Demonstrating leadership skills, you will contribute actively to service development and the continuous improvement of practice standards. This position requires flexibility, with availability to work across a 7-day schedule as needed. Additionally, you will be part of the respiratory on-call rota, providing vital support to patients when required.
