Summary

Traffic Management Operatives / Traffic Management Trainees

Salary: Starting at £12.21 per hour. Higher rates considered for other TM qualifications held.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, day and night shifts, with opportunities for overtime.

Location: Devon, South West (Staverton Depot)

About The Role:

As a Traffic Management Operative or Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow throughout the South West. This dynamic position offers you the chance to work on diverse projects, making a tangible impact on the community and environment. Requirements:

  • TTMBC as a minimum; further qualifications can be achieved with in-house training* to grow & support you in your career progression *subject to signing a training agreement
  • 12D M1 & M2, 12AB and C (IPV) desirable (all advantageous but can be trained)
  • Full UK Driving Licence & able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
  • Installing and removing temporary traffic management systems.
  • Loading and maintaining equipment such as temporary traffic signals and road closures.
  • Liaising with clients and sub-contractors to coordinate traffic management efforts.
  • Reporting any incidents or near misses to maintain safety standards.
