Summary
Job Title: Sous Chef
Location: Near Redruth, Cornwall
Position: Full-Time- 5 days per week
I am currently seeking a skilled Sous Chef to expand a Kitchen Team at a family-run business near Redruth
Working closely with the Head Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Heading up the kitchen on the Head Chef’s 2 days per week
Salary between £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and development
- Overseeing and managing kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
- Ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Contributing to a positive team environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Strong culinary skills and creativity
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
