We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join The Academy Grimsby in the role of Success Coach. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!
About the role
The Success Coach supports students aged 14–16 in achieving academic success, developing personal and social skills, and preparing them for their next steps (post-16 education, training, or employment). The suitable candidate will be expected to build strong, supportive relationships to empower students, particularly those at risk of underachievement, disengagement, or require support for social/emotional challenges.
About the person
The suitable candidate will have strong communication skills, an ability to build positive relationships with learners, excellent organisation and time management skills and familiarity with microsoft office packages. Experience working with 14-16 learners would be beneficial.
The suitable candidate must hold:
· GCSE English and Maths at a minimum of Grade 4
· A level 2 safeguarding qualification.
