About the role
The Academy Grimsby is now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an established 14-16 Provision. The ability to teach GCSE Science is essential, coupled with experience of delivering GCSE Maths being desirable.
About the person
It is desirable that the successful candidate will have experience of teaching Science in a Key Stage Four setting, although NQTs are also welcome to apply. As well as this, you will have experience in planning and delivering high quality lessons to Key Stage Four students alongside making judgements and providing sound feedback on student work.
You will be lively and enthusiastic and demonstrate a passion for the subject with an ability to impart this to your students and motivate a desire to achieve success. Your communication skills will need to be top notch as you liaise with staff, students and parents/carers.
