Crynodeb

We wish to recruit a grade 3 Animal Care Technician. You will be responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of animal housing, research laboratories/test rooms, research equipment and animal unit support facilities. You will assist the technical team with the maintenance of animal breeding programmes and recording environmental conditions of animal holding areas. You will also be responsible for undertaking laundry room duties, stock checking, stock and goods delivery duties and the safe disposal of waste.

This job is physical and manual handling plays an important part of the job.

You will be required to take part in the weekend cover rota, for which extra payment is provided.
