About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Teacher of ICT and Computer Science to join a thriving secondary school in Leeds starting in September 2025. This is your chance to make a real difference in a modern, inclusive, and high-achieving academic setting.
You'll be teaching a broad, balanced and challenging ICT and Computing curriculum to students at KS3 and KS4. There is strong departmental support, a well-equipped ICT suite, and collaborative schemes of work to support planning. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the school's digital strategy and wider digital literacy initiatives.

Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for ICT/Computing
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching of ICT and Computer Science
- Support the development of digital skills across the school
- Monitor student achievement and provide regular feedback
- Prepare and mark homework, tests, and assignments
- Guide students through GCSE Computer Science syllabus
- Tailor lessons to support learners of all abilities
- Contribute to departmental planning and resources
- Organise enrichment activities such as coding clubs
- Encourage creative and computational thinking
- Foster a growth mindset in learners
