Summary
This role involves conducting one-on-one and group sessions tailored to the individual needs of ESOL learners, with a focus on enhancing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities.
This position requires a balance of organisational skills and direct engagement with individuals, providing a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to support individuals in their language development journey.
In addition to this there is an expectation to assist with general office duties.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to individual and group needs.
Monitor and assess the progress of ESOL customers, providing feedback and guidance.
Encourage group participation, foster peer-to-peer learning, and ensure that all customers feel comfortable speaking and practicing English.
Support ESOL customers with employability and right to work needs
Tailor sessions to the specific needs and learning levels of individual customers.
Perform general office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Assist in organising and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ESOL sessions and administrative activities.
Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, preferably within an educational or ESOL setting.
Experience conducting one-on-one or group teaching/tutoring sessions is preferred, especially in language instruction.
Experience working with diverse, multicultural populations is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with learners of different backgrounds and levels of language proficiency.
A collaborative and team-oriented attitude, with the ability to take initiative.
