Job Title: Part-Time Evening Carer – Formby (Mild to Moderate Dementia Support)
Location: Formby, Merseyside
Hours: 2–3 hours per evening + some morning cover (on rota)
Rate of Pay: £13.00–£14.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a kind, reliable, and friendly carer to support a lovely lady living independently in Formby who has mild to moderate dementia. This is a companionship-focused role that involves light evening support alongside a small, supportive care team who provide both morning and evening visits.
Key Duties:
Evening support with light meal preparation, prompting personal care, and administering medication
Building a trusted relationship through companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Occasional support in the mornings (2–3 hours) on a rota basis
Keeping accurate records and communicating any changes in the client’s condition
Assisting with weekly routines, including social outings, mealtimes, or light household tasks as appropriate
Ideal Candidate:
A caring and patient nature, with a genuine interest in supporting people to live well at home
Experience with or understanding of dementia (training can be provided)
Flexible, reliable, and a good communicator
Comfortable working as part of a small care team, ideally able to commit to alternate weekends
This role would particularly suit a retired person or someone looking for part-time hours who enjoys chatting, companionship, and supporting others
Availability & Rota:
Weekly rota shared in advance
Staff are encouraged to provide their weekly availability
Commitment to alternate weekends is required to ensure continuity of care
