1. Analysis and writing of reports including market research, market intelligence, analysis and presentation of trade statistics and trade regulations for local market access purposes, import developments and exports between Malaysia and countries under coverage.
2. Reporting and monitoring of news related to changes in commercial policy imposed in the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar.
3. Collecting relevant key information for companies wishing to penetrate in the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar.
4. Establish linkages with local business contacts, ministries, agencies, local and regional authorities, particularly key contacts including the Malaysian diaspora, Malaysian investors and local businesses.
5. Coordination and organisation of business matchings between Malaysian companies/agencies/ministries and local importing companies.
6. Management, processing and monitoring of requests for information as well as commercial complaints from the UK, Ireland, Gibraltar and Malaysian companies.
7. Search for contacts and put Malaysian exporting companies in touch with the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar importing companies.
8. Organising meetings between Malaysian companies/agencies/ministries and local companies/importers and drafting meeting minutes.
9. Participation and organisation of the Malaysian pavilion at international trade fairs and other related events in the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar.
10. To manage database entry and its management.
11. Writing and preparation of speeches and presentations.
12. Other relevant task deemed necessary.
