Part-time Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 25 year old man living in the Barry area. I have a few interests including cars, I love going to car showrooms to look around. I enjoy music and have an eclectic taste in music ranging from Elvis Presley to Eminem. I would like to go to watch a live band/singer at a pub with my PA as I would really enjoy this. I have a learning disability, ADHD and asthma. He also has a nut allergy and carries an epi pen.
PURPOSE OF JOB
I would like a PA to support me in the community, as well as promote and encourage my independence.
HOURS OF WORK
5 hours a week to be worked flexibly on a weekend evening.
RATES OF PAY
£15.30 per hour
£0.40 per mile
TASKS INVOLVED
Social and community based activities
Companionship
Keeping me safe
Watching live bands/singers
Going to the local pub
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Reliable and flexible

Car driver with business class insurance and licence
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the Local Authority.
The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK.
