Summary
Due to the retirement of the current post holder. Streetscene Services are seeking to appoint a suitable candidate to the position of Nightshift Chargehand.
The role is to supervise a team of multi-functional environmental staff to deliver an effective street cleansing service overnight on our 4 days on – 4 days nightshift.
Working within the City, the hours of work are to be designated between the hours of 6pm to 6am. The service will maintain a flexible response to meet operational requirements, the use of machinery and driving is an essential part of this role along with ensuring the Health and Safety of all staff is adhered to.
We are looking for an honest, reliable individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive nature to lead and support a team, prioritising staff welfare and completing all allocated work to a high standard.
