Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Brent Children’s and Young People’s Occupational Therapy Team. We are looking for a highly experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work full time, part time/job share may be considered.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who has extensive clinical experience working with children.
Your role will be to provide assessment, advice, and treatment to children with a range of needs including coordination, developmental, functional, sensory and sensory motor needs either in 1:1 input, groups or integrated MDT groups. The role will include work within local clinic settings, schools and supporting families across Brent.
You will work closely with an established multi-professional teams within Brent Community Services and with outside services to deliver occupational therapy advice and treatment meeting the needs of children and young people across Brent including delivering EHCP treatment in line with The Children’s Act 2014. You will have had experience of working with children in the community and/or educational settings or similar.
You should be able to evidence excellent team working and communication skills and have a passion for management and leadership. You will take a key role in ensuring best practice and develop clinical pathways to reflect.
You will receive support from a line manager and receive in house training as part of the role. There is a strong ethos of clinical support and supervision within the team.
